Work with one of our HR expert consultants to review your existing Family policies and Mental Health policies and conduct a gap analysis to inform an action plan of changes both now and in the future. From guidance on wording and additional inclusions, to flow and relationships between interrelated policies, we can work with you to ensure perinatal mental health is effectively included.

One day perinatal mental health course. Provided by and facilitated by Lifeboat Perinatal Mental Health CIC, this one day, in-person course is perfect for people in your organisation who are an unofficial or official ‘perinatal mental health champion’. They could be a Mental Health First Aider, or leader of a Parents & Carers Employee Resource Group or network. Outcomes of the session are;
Understand the importance of good perinatal mental health
Understand the value and importance of adopting a trauma-informed approach to support
Be aware of the risks associated with PMH, especially around self harm, suicide and safeguarding
To be able to identify ways of supporting parents and carers experiencing perinatal mental illness
To understand infant mental health and the impact of parents’ and carers’ mental health on their child
To have an awareness of and understand the impact of equality and diversity on mental health
To understand ways of supporting your own mental health
